April 6

The battle of Shiloh was a terrible battle between the North and South, Union and Confederates, Brother and Brother.  The battle of Shiloh took a total of 23,738 casualties and left many families without fathers, brothers, sons, grandsons, and cousins.  This battle was one of the most bloodiest battles in US history and those who died should be remembered for what they did April 6th through 7th in 1862.
